While police have not officially identified the victim, her family identified her as 18-year-old Yoseliani Marte in a GoFundMe campaign created by her mother.

In the fundraiser, Marte's mother said her daughter was killed as a "result of domestic violence."

According to public records, the home is owned by Conan Harris, who has been married to Pressley since 2014.

The home is currently listed for sale for $1.15 million.

A spokesperson for Pressley's office told Boston 25 News that neither the congresswoman nor her family were involved in the incident and that Pressley extends her deepest condolences to the family and loved ones impacted by the tragedy.

A neighbor said the usually calm neighborhood was shaken by the large police response Saturday.

"I mean it's sad, it's really sad because you know this neighborhood is a wonderful place to be."

Family and friends reportedly held a vigil for the victim Sunday night.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Pressley's office for comment.
